Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie has done a great deal
of humanitarian work, so I have created Help Angelina
Jolie.com to help Angelina Jolie out.
Sing a song, save the world. Sound impossible? Only if you let it be. Impossibilities are only for those who believe it so, or those things proven beyond a shadow of doubt to be so. I am attempting to create a chain reaction of giving. It works by giving up song lyrics, and eventually music, to a fictional person called DreamWeaver. Under DreamWeaver there are very simple rules to follow, as to what you can or can't do with the material given to DreamWeaver. One of the rules is that you must donate fair royalties to a legitimate charity of your choice, for any material that you use belonging to DreamWeaver. The more material given, the more that people have to use, and the more donations that are generated for charities. Thus, the chain reaction of giving begins.
Songs can make millions in the right hands, so why not open the door of opportunity and potential. Imagine if one person sang a song, and donated to a favorite charity every time they sang it. Now imagine 100 people singing that one song, and donating to different charities, every time they sang it. Now imagine 1000 people singing 100 different songs, and donating every time they sang them. I look at it like casting a stone into a lake. The stone is a song. Every ripple is another person singing it, while spreading good will. I call this idea "The Dreamweaver Project ".
I would like to point out a few more things about ideas. You hear the call for money and ideas. Actually there's more of a call for money than ideas. Remember that money runs in circles, while ideas make change. To this I say, ideas are far greater than money. The right idea in the right hands, can save millions. Not just in money, but lives as well. We also have a bad habit of throwing ideas away, because we don't like where they come from. To this I say, "A good idea, is a good idea.". If an idea stands to reason in your own mind, you would be a fool to throw it away, simply because you don't like where it came from. Last but not least, we tend to take a partial glance at an idea and say, " Seen it. Done it." and then throw it away. Not only do we need to recognize good ideas, but we need to recognize pieces of ideas that could strengthen existing ones. Remember that every good effort is an effort, and to remove one, will weaken the greater effort, that is change. Do not pay back a similar idea with unkind words. At least people are thinking on the problem. In the end I'm not rich or famous, so all I have is my ideas. Now I ask you, will you help me create an echo of change across the world, through song.
Fight for what you believe in, or be ruled by the beliefs of others.

"The Rules"
Rule 1: One may add or take away
from the lyrics. No one may own
these lyrics, but all may sing
them. Remember once you give music
or lyrics to DreamWeaver, you can
never take them back.
Rule 2: If you use these lyrics,
you must donate fair royalties to
a legitimate charity of your
choice. If you make a lot, then
give a lot. If you make a little,
then give a little. If you sing
for free, then you are already
giving.
Rule 3: Be spontaneous. Don't
tell anyone that you are working
on one of the lyrics. Just surprise
people one day singing it.
Rule 4: When creating CD's, please
pass on original lyrics, commentary,
and the rules. This is done,
so that the dream may grow and
spread.
Rule notes: Have fun, and thank
you for contributing to the
betterment of the world.
Personal notes: If one of my lyrics
should happen to be similar or the
same as, someone else's lyrics, then
I'm truly sorry. I am merely writing
about things around me, or what I
feel. I'm not perfect, nor shall I
ever claim to be. I'm just a novice
writer. My personal preferences on
charities are:

www.makeitrightnola.org
Please forgive me if I do not
answer questions quickly. My internet
access is very limited. Thanks again.
